Winning the Work: A Threefold Growth Plan for Professional Advisors
Keynote Speaker: Tim Maurer, CFP®, RLP®
Most of us fell in love with and became experts in doing the work of the advisory profession, but many of us have struggled to find an optimal approach to winning the work that is fully integrated into who we are as a person and as a professional. We recognize that in order to be healthy our business needs to grow, but we bristle at the word “sales” and may even consider it a necessary evil rather than a purposeful pursuit.
Winning the Work offers a different perspective and an approach to business development that is evidence-based, relationship-centric, and built on a chassis of generosity, rather than transactional selfishness. Best of all, it offers a three-fold method that advisors can start using today—that they can adapt and enjoy! But no business development strategy will survive without concurrent personal and professional development tactics to ensure a holistic and complimentary ascent. Therefore, Winning the Work concludes with why and how we can and must be growing in life to maximize our potential at work.
